Permatex 81844 Rearview Mirror Adhesive, 2 part kit Review
Driving to work and your rear view mirror literally falls off in your lap...if it hasn't happened to you, take my word its a bad way to start the day.
This product is perfect, easy to apply, inexpensive, and works great!
I marked the spot I wanted the "button" and even raised it a bit compared to the stock location. Peeled the old adhesive spot off, clean the area with the included wipe packet, apply one drop of the adhesive and press the button to the windshield. I held the button for about 5 minutes and it stayed right in place. Hung the mirror over the button and was back in business.
Cheap and easy fix, cant ask for anything more! Highly recommend this product.
(Just a side note, if you would happen to mess up the location or alignment of the button, it appears you can get about 3 tries out of the adhesive pack. Scraping the dried adhesive off would need to be done first though)
